For the Crust

- 0.5 cups powdered sugar

- 0.5 cups unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons ice water
For the Filling
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
- 0.5 cups fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 cups fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 cups all-purpose flour
Prepare the crust by mixing flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add chilled butter and mix until coarse crumbs form. Stir in egg yolk and ice water, then press into a tart pan and prick the bottom.
