Cream Cheese Mixture
- 8 oz cream cheese softened for easy spreading
- 4 oz cooked bacon crumbled into small pieces
- 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 bagels bagels halved, your choice of flavor
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Slice the bagels in half and place them cut side up on a baking sheet.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
If you haven't cooked your bacon yet, fry it in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then crumble it.
Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides of each bagel half. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each half.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each bagel. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
