  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional) Adds extra depth of flavor.
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened Essential for rich, velvety texture.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Whipped to create a light filling.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Sweetens the mascarpone mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances overall flavor.
  • 1 package (7 ounces) ladyfinger cookies Soak up the coffee and provide structure.
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder For dusting on top.
  • to taste dark chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional) Adds a beautiful finish.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the coffee mixture by brewing strong coffee and letting it cool. Mix in coffee liqueur if using.
  • Make the mascarpone filling by beating mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Assemble the tiramisu cups by dipping ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and layering them with the mascarpone filling.
  • Chill the assembled cups in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare the tiramisu cups a day in advance.
