Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 green onion, chopped For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl to create the marinade. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side, basting with thickened marinade during the last few minutes. Remove from grill and let rest before serving.
