  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar to enhance sweetness
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream for whipped cream topping
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar to sweeten whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor
  • 1 cup pound cake cut into small cubes
  • fresh mint leaves optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Combine sliced strawberries with granulated sugar in a medium bowl and let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Cut pound cake into small cubes and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Assemble the cups by layering pound cake cubes, macerated strawberries, and whipped cream. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Assemble cups just before serving to prevent sogginess.
