Dry Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 0.5 cups milk
- 0.25 cups unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 cups powdered sugar
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Whisk until well mixed.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the fresh strawberry puree.
Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full with the batter and spread evenly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While the donut holes are baking, prepare the strawberry glaze by mixing powdered sugar with a few tablespoons of strawberry puree until smooth.
Once the donut holes are baked and cooled for about 5 minutes, dip the tops into the strawberry glaze and place on a wire rack to set.
