Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed strawberry cereal like Strawberry Crunch
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the crushed strawberry cereal and white chocolate chips.
  • Scoop out portions of dough and roll them into balls, placing them on a baking sheet with 2 inches of space between each.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
