Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and egg, and mix well.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamy mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips.
Drop rounded portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Optionally, press extra strawberry pieces or white chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
