  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger Minced for a zesty kick.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce This will provide the salty depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar To balance the saltiness with sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce For a rich umami taste.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds a nutty flavor that enhances the dish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional, for those who enjoy a bit of heat.
  • 2 green onions sliced For garnish and a fresh crunch.
  • 1 cup snap peas or bell peppers Sliced, to add color and nutrition.

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
  • Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, stir-fry the marinated beef for 3-4 minutes until browned, then remove.
  • Sauté minced garlic and ginger in the same skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Combine the soy sauce mixture, cooked noodles, stir-fried beef, and vegetables in the skillet, tossing everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
