Ground Beef Filling
- 1 pound ground beef Main protein source.

Prepare the dough by letting refrigerated pie crusts sit at room temperature for 10 minutes or make your own dough and chill for 30 minutes.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain fat, add onion and garlic, and cook until translucent (3-4 minutes). Stir in spices and olives, then cool the filling.
Roll out pie crusts, cut into circles, place filling in the center, fold and seal the edges.
Preheat oven to 400°F, place empanadas on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
