Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cups green cabbage chopped into thin strips
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon paprika for a smoky flavor
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to enhance flavors
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for a spicy kick
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce to add depth
  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all your ingredients: slice the smoked sausage, chop the cabbage, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in the chopped cabbage, paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crunchy.
  • Drizzle the soy sauce over the stir-fry and mix well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.
