Instructions
 

  • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into four oval patties, about 1 inch thick.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  • In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until tender, then sprinkle flour and stir.
  • Gradually add beef broth while stirring, then add soy sauce and thyme, and bring to a simmer.
  • Return the cooked patties to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
