Ingredients
  

Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef Main protein source.
  • 1 medium onion, diced Adds sweetness and depth.
  • 1 green bell pepper diced Offers a fresh crunch.
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms Enhances umami taste.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Brings aroma and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adds a mild kick.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates a rich texture.
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Adds classic cheesesteak flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Provides a gooey texture.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a salty flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used for sautéing.

Instructions
 

  • Prep all ingredients by washing and dicing the vegetables and mincing the garlic.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms for 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add ground beef, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in heavy cream and let simmer. Mix in half of the provolone and mozzarella cheeses until melted.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheeses on top.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
