Brussels sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Trimmed and halved
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the Brussels sprouts, trim the ends, and cut them in half.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the sprouts and toss to coat. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over them and toss again until covered.
  • Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden brown.
