Ingredients
  

Base Layer

  • 1.5 cups chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping, divided

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

Topping

  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Optional Garnish

  • Chocolate shavings or additional crushed candies for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the crust by mixing crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter and pressing into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Make the chocolate layer by whisking together chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in peppermint extract.
  • Create the peppermint cream layer by beating cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
  • Assemble the lasagna by spreading the cream cheese mixture over the crust, followed by the chocolate layer, and topping with remaining whipped topping.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  • Before serving, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
