Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1 pound total
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and lemon juice to the skillet, spooning the melted butter over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
