Chicken
- 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1 pound total
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and lemon juice to the skillet, spooning the melted butter over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
