Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1 pound total
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  • Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • If time allows, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the oven, drizzle with fresh lemon juice, and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
