Filling Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese Adds richness.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Sweetens the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips Adds chocolatey surprise.
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional) Adds nutty crunch.
  • powdered sugar for dusting Adds sweetness before serving.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add butter and mix until coarse crumbs form. Add egg and vanilla, stir until dough forms. Press into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine ricotta and mascarpone. Blend until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and pistachios.
  • Spread filling over cooled crust. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and pistachios.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until filling is set but soft. Let cool completely.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Cut into squares.
