  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray, or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly before adding the eggs.
  • Add the eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
