Meatloaf Base

  • 1 pound ground beef Main protein source.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Helps bind the meatloaf.

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances overall taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adds heat and flavor.

Mac and Cheese Topping

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Provides creaminess and flavor.
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni Base of the cheesy layer.
  • 1 cup milk Creates creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Adds richness and tanginess.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds nutty flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika For smokiness and color.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) For added heat.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cooked macaroni, milk, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir until well combined.
  • Press the meatloaf mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the macaroni and cheese mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the meatloaf is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
