Instructions
 

  • Prepare all your ingredients by mincing the garlic and ginger, washing and cutting the broccoli, shredding the carrots, and slicing the green onions.
  • In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 4-5 minutes. Combine the cooked rice, beef mixture, steamed broccoli, and shredded carrots in a large bowl.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.
