Tuna Steaks
- 1 pound fresh tuna steaks (about 4 steaks, 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Marinate the tuna steaks by whisking together soy sauce, sesame oil, orange juice, lemon juice, honey, garlic, and ginger. Coat the tuna and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Grill the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add sesame seeds during the last minute of grilling.
Prepare a citrus sauce by boiling the leftover marinade until it thickens slightly.
Let the tuna rest for a few minutes before serving with the citrus sauce.
