  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates a rich and creamy sauce.

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Combine the cooked chicken and drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet. Toss gently to coat and heat through for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
