Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef You can also use ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For brushing on top.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal.
  • Place the filled biscuits seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
