  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Melt the unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • In a bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add ground beef and mix well to marinate.
  • Add the marinated beef to the skillet with garlic butter, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave. Assemble tacos by adding beef mixture and toppings.
  • Drizzle BBQ sauce over the assembled tacos and add optional toppings like sour cream and cilantro. Serve immediately.
