Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
