Ingredients
  

Fresh Strawberries

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix 15.25-ounce
  • 1 package cream cheese 8-ounce, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1/4 cup milk for glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Spread the sliced strawberries evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberries.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer without stirring.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth to create a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the top before serving.
