- 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
- 1 box vanilla cake mix 15.25-ounce
- 1 package cream cheese 8-ounce, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Spread the sliced strawberries evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberries.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer without stirring.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth to create a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the top before serving.
