Broccoli
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the fresh broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan until melted and smooth.
In a baking dish, add the blanched broccoli and pour the creamy cheese sauce over it. Mix gently to coat the broccoli evenly.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
