Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder for 15-20 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok and fry the marinated chicken pieces in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Combine the fried chicken with the prepared sauce in the skillet and toss until evenly coated.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.
