  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the wet ingredients: granulated sugar, brown sugar, yogurt, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
