Chicken
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
- 1 ounce ranch dressing mix 1 packet
- 1 ounce brown gravy mix 1 packet
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms optional
- 1 cup chopped onions optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix the ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, and chicken broth until well blended.
Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken and add mushrooms and onions if using.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir into the gravy before serving.
