Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
  • 1 ounce ranch dressing mix 1 packet
  • 1 ounce brown gravy mix 1 packet
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms optional
  • 1 cup chopped onions optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, and chicken broth until well blended.
  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken and add mushrooms and onions if using.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir into the gravy before serving.
