Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken with salt and pepper for about 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the orange sauce by combining orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan and simmering.
  • Coat the marinated chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken pieces for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Toss the fried chicken in the orange sauce until well-coated and serve warm garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
