Chicken
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Coat chicken pieces in flour, then eggs, and finally panko breadcrumbs.
Fry the chicken in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Heat until thickened.
Pour the honey sauce over the fried chicken and toss to coat. Serve immediately garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
