  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 spray cooking spray

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and dicing them into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters before serving.
