  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed buttery crackers like Ritz
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chicken by boiling, baking, or grilling it. Once cooked, let it cool and shred into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the chicken mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread evenly, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by crushed buttery crackers.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
