Ingredients
  

Creamy Base

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lump crab meat picked over for shells
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
  • as needed tortilla chips or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the lump crab meat, then add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Stir until combined.
  • Add the shredded sharp cheddar cheese and mix gently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips or sliced baguette.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Avoid overmixing the crab meat.
