Ingredients
  

Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 ounces large pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
  • In a large skillet, heat over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil, add salt, and cook the pasta shells according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth, and simmer.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta shells, cover, and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
