Ingredients
  

Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef provides rich flavor and protein
  • 1 medium onion, diced adds sweetness and depth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced brings aroma and taste
  • 1 can (10.5-ounce) cream of mushroom soup creates the creamy base
  • 1 can (14.5-ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained adds acidity and freshness
  • 1 cup beef broth enhances flavor and helps cook pasta
  • 1 cup uncooked large pasta shells holds the creamy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning adds flavor
  • to taste salt and pepper essential for seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese adds creaminess and flavor
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional) for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • In a separate pot, boil water and cook the pasta shells according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In the skillet with the beef, add the onion and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta shells and cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
