Meatball Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey.
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and egg in a large mixing bowl. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce over medium heat. Stir until well combined and heated through.
Transfer baked meatballs to a slow cooker and pour the warm sauce over them. Cover and let simmer on low for 120-180 minutes.
