Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings Fresh or thawed wings work best.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adds mild heat and depth.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Brings a savory taste.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Complements garlic and adds sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Provides a smoky flavor.
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Melted for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Adds tangy flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Brightens the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For a fresh note.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds tang and creaminess.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard. Whisk until well blended.
  • In a large bowl, add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to the wings. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Remove the wings from the oven, transfer to a large bowl, and toss with the cowboy butter sauce until coated.
