  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder enhances flavor profile
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt essential for seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper adds a pinch of spice
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour helps bind the mixture
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese adds rich flavor
  • as needed oil for frying vegetable or canola oil

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients and prep them. Ensure cottage cheese is at room temperature. Wash and peel fresh potatoes, or thaw frozen ones.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold in grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls or tots, about 1 to 2 inches in size, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
