  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chicken by boiling or baking it until fully cooked, then shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with cottage cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Spoon the chicken and cottage cheese mixture over the marinara sauce, then pour the remaining marinara sauce on top. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the cheese layer. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
