Coconut Chocolate Delight Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and measure them out.
  • Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Press the coconut mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chopped semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Once set, lift the mixture out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
