Cinnamon Vanilla Custard Pie Ingredients
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.75 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 9-inch pre-made pie crust
Prepare the pie crust by pressing it into a pie dish and pricking the bottom with a fork. Blind bake at 350°F for 10 minutes if desired.
In a medium saucepan, combine whole milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium until warm but not boiling.
In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Slowly pour the warm milk mixture into the egg mixture while whisking constantly to prevent scrambling.
Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust, filling it almost to the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 40-45 minutes until the custard is set and a knife comes out clean.
Let the pie cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
