  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted (for coating)

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together the all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the melted unsalted butter, whole milk, large egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Grease a muffin tin and divide the batter evenly among the cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cruffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then dip the tops in melted butter and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
