Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 0.5 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted (for coating)
Whisk together the all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the melted unsalted butter, whole milk, large egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Grease a muffin tin and divide the batter evenly among the cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cruffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then dip the tops in melted butter and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
