Ingredients
  

Vegetables and Noodles

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 2 cups cooked chow mein noodles
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Wash and slice all vegetables. Mince garlic, shred carrots, and slice bell peppers.
  • Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
  • Add shredded carrots and bell peppers, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add cooked noodles and bean sprouts, then pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
