Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened 8 oz
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken and softened cream cheese. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough over the filling and tuck in the sides. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Brush tops of chicken pillows with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
