Pasta

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta penne or rotini work best
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce for that rich, tomato flavor
  • 2 cups water to help cook the pasta
  • 1 pound frozen meatballs beef or turkey, your choice
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese for that gooey, cheesy topping
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning to enhance the flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder for a hint of garlic goodness
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine the uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, and water in a large baking dish. Stir well.
  • Add the frozen meatballs on top of the pasta mixture and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, stir gently, and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving.
