Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients by washing and dicing the vegetables.
  • In a large pot, heat it over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in beef broth, diced potatoes, carrots, celery, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until vegetables are tender. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, milk, and sour cream. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
