Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup burger sauce e.g., Thousand Island, ranch, or BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into four equal-sized patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  • Layer mixed salad greens in a bowl, add sliced cooked patties, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, cheddar cheese, pickles, and red onion. Drizzle with burger sauce.
